Plans change — we get it. This policy explains how to cancel or reschedule a repair, the notice we ask for, and the fees that can apply if an appointment is missed. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
Give Us 24 Hours, and There's No Charge
Cancel or reschedule with a day's notice and it's free — we'll simply rebook you.
Need to change your appointment? Call us or use our contact form as early as you can. The sooner you let us know, the easier it is to free up your slot for someone else and find you a new time that works.
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a booked appointment. With that much notice there's no charge — we'll simply rebook you for another day.
If you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours' notice, a late-cancellation fee of $[XX] may apply to cover the technician's reserved time. We'll always try to be reasonable, especially for genuine emergencies.
If our technician arrives within the agreed window and no one aged 18 or older is home, or we can't safely access the appliance, it counts as a missed appointment. A no-show fee of $[XX] may apply, and the visit will need to be rebooked. A quick call ahead of time avoids this entirely.
Where a diagnostic or service-call fee applies, it covers the technician attending and assessing your appliance. Once the technician has attended, that fee is earned and non-refundable — even if you choose not to proceed with the recommended repair. We disclose any such fee when you book.
Some repairs need a deposit, usually toward special-order or non-stock parts. Once those parts have been ordered on your behalf, the deposit is non-refundable, since the parts are bought specifically for your appliance. If a part can be returned to our supplier, we'll refund what we're able to recover, less any restocking charge.
Occasionally we have to move an appointment ourselves — for weather, a parts delay, a prior job running long, or a technician emergency. If that happens, we'll let you know as soon as we can and rebook at the earliest time that suits you, at no charge. If we can't complete a booked repair at all, any deposit you've paid toward it is refunded.
Refunds for unused deposits, where applicable, are issued to your original payment method within a reasonable time. Refunds relating to a completed repair are handled under our Warranty, not this policy.
Same-day and emergency visits are scheduled tightly, so we especially appreciate as much notice as possible if your plans change. The notice periods and fees above still apply.
We may update this policy from time to time; the current version and its effective date are always posted on this page. This policy forms part of, and should be read with, our Terms & Conditions.
Call (403) 446-0386 — the earlier, the better.
