How It Started

We started the way a lot of good shops do — out of frustration. After years on the road for big-name dispatch outfits, our founder was tired of the same story: homeowners waiting days for a callback, then getting handed a bill nobody warned them about. Foothills was built to do the opposite. Answer the phone. Show up the same day when we can. Say what's wrong in plain English, and what it'll cost, before anything gets opened up — no pressure, no padded invoices, no mystery service fees.

Word got around. One honest repair in a Calgary kitchen turned into the next street over, then the next community, then the towns beyond the city limits. Years on, we're still independent, still local, and still the ones picking up the phone.

Why We're Called Foothills

Look south and east of Calgary and you'll see it — where the prairie starts to roll and the Rockies show up on the horizon. That's our country, and we named the shop for it. It's exactly who we serve: Calgary's four quadrants, the lake community of Chestermere, the Sheep River town of Okotoks, and the acreages scattered through Rocky View and Foothills County in between.

Working here means knowing the local quirks. The hard water that scales up dishwashers and fouls ice makers. The garage freezers that fight every January cold snap. The well-water minerals out on the acreages that wear washers down early. We don't learn that from a manual — we see it every week.

What We Repair

We handle the six that matter most in a home: fridges and freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, and stoves and ranges — gas and electric. And we work on every major brand that lands in an Alberta kitchen: Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, Maytag, and Bosch, plus GE, Frigidaire, KitchenAid, Kenmore, Electrolux, Amana, Miele, Sub-Zero, Wolf, and JennAir. If it plugs in or pipes up in your kitchen or laundry room, chances are we fix it.
